Post this Map in the CS:GO Workshop on Steam. Easy to download and Stuff. Glad to see such a good Remake

Gotta say, you're really good at mapping Grunt :) I love how you got the style of CS:GO right, if i didn't know better i'd think this was an official map :P 10/10

Pros:

• Tight spaces make for great fire fights
• Mostly true to original with some welcome modifications

Cons:

• Lack of cover in some of the longer corridors and bigger spaces make players tend to avoid them which limits options
• Many newer players (with no experience on the original map) get very confused about which doors can be opened
• The mini-map isn't embedded in the map so players don't download it when they join my server

Improvements:

• I would suggest changing the texture of the doors which can't be opened; maybe use a texture of a door barricaded by wood to make it obvious that they can't be opened
• Release a version with the mini-map embedded

Overall, I love this map! I have had it in my server's rotation for a couple days and I have gotten mixed feedback. People who have been playing for a long time seem to love it just like me, probably because of nostalgia. Most of the new players don't care for it as much, mostly because of the problems mentioned above. When this one comes up in the rotation, players are sometimes rtv'ing it to a different one.

For anyone who runs a server and you are getting errors with CT models, it is because you have different player models definied in your gamemodes_server.txt file than the map defines in it's .kv file. If you wanna try out this map, I currently have it running in my server's regular rotation...

I put this map on my server. But the skins are left with CT error.

I have other custom maps on my server, and it works perfectly.

How can I fix this?

You're right, not sure how I missed that whilst uploading maps. Must have been doing too many at one time. Got it uploaded, should be good to go now. Thanks!

Update: Hmm, I added both the .dds and the .txt file into the resources/overview folder, and there is still no radar appearing in backalley. I restarted the server etc. Another map, demiragecsgo appears to have a radar, and there is no .dds file I had to upload. Just a .bsp and a .kv.

This might be because I didn't embed the radar image in the map file, I did that now and you can try redownloading it to see if it had any effect...

You changed the map itself. So now if someone has the old map version it doesn't redownload him the map but gives him an error 'your map version differs from servers'....

• properly sourcified, better than valves work
• attention to detail

• none whatsoever

• this map is an incredible peice of work that you have acocmplished, this more than gives valve a run for their money in all honesty, hats off to you good sir.
