Always wanted to play Counterstrike: Global Offensive, but couldn't get into the private beta? This is your chance to get into the beta of one of the most anticipated games of 2012!
Valve announced that they will be handing out new beta keys very soon. They will be distributing keys to the top 7000 most active CS:S players as well as giving extra keys to the top 500 most active CS:GO players to hand out. They also want to involve the community and they'll be giving out keys through gaming communities such as this one!
If you're still not lucky enough to get into the beta, Valve is going to release a survey in the coming week from which they will select a happy few who get to play the CS:GO beta.
Today we are kicking off the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Beta. Players currently in the stress test will notice more maps, more weapons, and most importantly more players.
During this Beta, community feedback is really important to us. Counter-Strike has been around for 12 years and has been played by over 25 million players. We want to make sure to capture all of that experience and knowledge as we make Counter-Strike: Global Offensive the best version of Counter-Strike.
