The Classic SMG

CS:GO doesn't have an MP5, so I made a replacement that works for either the MP7 or MP9, bringing back the classic MP5 SMG. Reloading speeds will match server reload times.

Comes with 3 different texture variations by Blur., Poux, and arby26.

Before installing, back-up your pak01_dir.vpk in your csgo folder (...steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo).

Install MP7 version by using Nopepad++ (PLUS PLUS, or similar ADVANCED text editor, or hex editor), to find/replace 12 instances of "_smg_mp7" to "_smg_np7" in pak01_dir.vpk.

Install MP9 version by using Nopepad++ (PLUS PLUS, or similar ADVANCED text editor, or hex editor), to find/replace 12 instances of "_smg_mp9" to "_smg_np9" in pak01_dir.vpk.

could the skin be updated so it syncs with the new reload animations?

a patch was made recently where ammo counter for all guns reloads after the clipin portion of animation

with this skin, that ammo counter reset doesnt occur when the clipin happens

i have tried opening pack01dir.vpk do i just find all the _smgmp9 and replace it with smgnp9?

I could use some help, i got some errors, but THIS is the main problem: http://imgur.com/a/5wg6i

It comes out all pink and black, and the dev console says that the texture was "null" i have installed an AK47 texture before, so i know how. Maybe i messed up? thanks for the help.

EDIT: The Blur textures are odd, they dont have a file system. Ill use another one.

can i use your V_ and W_ models, then hex them to *MP5

because i'm trying to remake the Weapon_mp5navy.txt to make the REAL MP5navy work ingame :S

Pros:
- Model, textures and animation.
Cons:
- Still shows up as a MP7 or MP9 in the buy menu.
- MP9 animations look a bit rushed, since it is the same animations sped up.
Improvements:
- Buy picture and name.
Notes:
- Absolutely great skin, especially for being this early. An example the rest should follow.

I gotta say that this is one of the best skins I've seen for CS:GO. The animations are great and the detail on the gun is just amazing! This being my favorite type of Mp5, I gotta admit that this made my jaw drop to the floor. Great job dude! 10/10
