Rifleman's and Bull's AKM for CS:GO

Here's the AKM for GO, I just wanted to get this thing out A.S.A.P.

Not that that thing is out, finally.. Been having problem with my own rig..

Hope you guys enjoyed it, spent so many hours just trying to fix the problems.

Most of you already know how to install this so, yeah.

But just in case :

1. Download CS:GO Skin Installation Tool, and check the corresponding skin and select install.
2. Copy paste the inside of the archive to /steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/
3. Done.

    Tell us what to modify in pak01_dir manually using notepad++, so there is no conflict with other mod that changes the file.

    Yeah you can use this skin online, that's how I noticed the animation issues. I used Unkn0wn's CSGO Skin Installation Tool. I think using that tool modifies the pak01_dir file because its documentation says you need the original file.

    Pros:

    • Perfect model and textures

    Cons:

    • The animations for both the draw and reload are too long. If you play this on an online server (and not a local one you create yourself), the reload animations have this horrible snapping to idle position after you insert the new magazine. You don't even see the boltpull because it's the part of the animation that exceeds the default reload time so a large part of the reload animation is simply cut out. Likewise, the draw animation is slightly too long as well where if you switch to it and want to fire the moment the AK-47 is ready then the draw animation is slightly cut off though not as bad as the reload.

    Improvements:

    • The reload needs the boltpull part cut out and the gun should be moved smoothly to its idle position near the end of the reload. Also the draw animation needs to be sped up just ever so slightly to fit in with the default draw animation time.

    People don't really test out these skins online do they? It wouldn't have got 10/10 by 10 raters if they did actually use it online.
