Where can i find the weapon texture files?

By 12 months ago

Can anyone explain to me where can i find weapon or character textures files? I really wanna know because i would like to modify them. Please post a comment explaining with every detail or a link that leads you to a tutorial website.I have been searching on google for this but i didn't find anything.

Also i saw the tutorial which Mini posted here but i have a problem:

1)I run GCFScape.

2)File - open.

3)Browse and find pak01_dir.vpk in my CS GO directory.

4)Open it but when i open it there is always one and only folder named "root" and i can't open it or explore it.

Please help.

Don't put apostrophes right after the word 'thank'. In most cases, it represents the word 'is' after it.

So what you're saying is: "thank is" which doesn't make any sense at all.
