    To be honest, it can be quite the bother finding a normal vanilla CS:S server that doesn't alter gameplay.

    This is an open source game, why do you care? There are so many vanilla counter strike servers, play that. I love surfing, minigames, and stuff like that. It makes the game a whole lot better and more fun. The gameplay will still be the same.
