CS:GO Change bkacgorund tutorial? anyone? plz help

    There is no tutorial I guess.. if you have your CS:GO at widescreen just search a picture you want as background and convert it to a .vtf and a .vmt with VTFEdit.

    Then you have to save both as "background01widescreen.vtf" and "background01widescreen.vmt" in your "steam/steamapps/common/counter-strike global offensive/csgo/materials/console". Overwrite (backup before) the old files and start CS:GO. If you dont have a widescreen just do the same without a widescreen suffix then.

    I've tried to do as you said and nothing ..

    also have tried to get an image and create a file. swf and gives, only when I enter the game is pretty much:

    then when it is to play only gives the background and does not appear any more: S just wanted to even the picture on the menu and I'm not getting

    This is for CS:S and other source games not CS:GO, the menu in CS:GO is created with flash so you'll have to change some swf files!
